The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

2What Is the Opportunity?
This Domain Data Strategy Lead role will advance the data strategy for a specific product line (e.g., Underwriting, Operations), ensuring data initiatives align with business goals and enable high-value analytics. These individual contributor roles will partner with execution leads and business stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable priorities, providing thought leadership on data needs and opportunities. The role requires strong domain expertise and the ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution support.What Will You Do?
- Lead development of analytic data products, including pilots and proof of concepts.
- Execute data strategies to support various consumption patterns and identify enterprise architecture, platform, and application infrastructure needs.
- Drive the operationalizing and automating of all capabilities to ensure secure, supported and scalable solutions.
- Present analysis and recommendations to help influence management and executive leadership decisions.
- Guide and coach senior team members to accelerate career development.
- Establish budgets, policies and practices with significant impact on area operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field or equivalent
- Eight or more years of related work experience
- Four or more years of team leadership experience
- Proven experience in data engineering with strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in mapping and implementing data strategies within business environments.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and data consumers to translate requirements into solutions.
- Background in data platforms and cloud architecture design and implementation.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence and guide teams without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to "sell" strategic vision to diverse audiences.
- Experience in individual contributor roles with occasional people management responsibilities.
- Strong preference for someone who has prior experience working in the insurance industry.
- Track record of successfully leading data and analytics transformations.
- Experience balancing technical expertise with business strategy and product knowledge.
- Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organizations and drive results through influence.
- Proven experience as a strategic data leader who can bridge business and technology domains.
- Subject matter expertise in data tools, techniques, and manipulation including cloud platforms, programming languages, and technology platforms.
What is a Must Have?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training with data tools, techniques, and manipulation.
- Six years of data engineering or equivalent experience
- One year of previous management experience.
