Job Summary

Hazard Community and Technical College invites applicants for the Manager 1 – Student Support (Director of Student Support Services) position. The Director will provide oversight of the Student Support Services grant to include supervision of personnel, budget management, reporting, promotion and provide services as outlined by the grant. This position is grant funded.

Job Duties:

Duties:

· Oversee day to day operations of the Student Support Services programs.

· Supervise Student Support Services staff including tutors and instructors in the program.

· Promote the programming through the service area including classroom visits and participation/visit to area highs schools and community events.

· Oversee the budget and authorize all expenditures.

· Ensure compliance, prepare and submit reports, oversee the record keeping.

· Coordinate Advisory Committee

· Provide direct services (such as advising) to assigned caseload.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling or related field plus 2 years related experience.
