Material Handler

Job Description

Stepan Company located in Wilmington, NC is currently seeking a Material Handler for the Operations area.  This position is an entry level position and reports to the Material Handling Supervisor and is responsible for the safe and compliant operation of all railcar movement and receiving functions for the site. The successful candidate will work a Monday-Friday schedule (8 hours per day with some overtime), but must be able to adjust work schedule as needed to meet business needs. 

Qualifications

0-1+ years previous manufacturing or industrial related experience

Must have a valid driver's license 

Prefer previous experience moving and spotting railcars

Prefer previous forklift experience 

Education

High school diploma or GED
