What You'll do

  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with age requirements.
     
  • Recognize when guests have had too much to drink and manage situations with professionalism.
     
  • Take and fulfill beverage orders from both guests and servers.
     
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes.
     
  • Learn the names of our regular guests and provide personalized service.
     
  • Record orders promptly and accurately in the register system.
     
  • Process payments, handle credit card transactions, and make change as needed.
     
  • Wash and sanitize glassware.
     
  • Prepare garnishes and maintain an appealing presentation of snacks and appetizers.
     
  • Keep bottles, glasses, and the bar organized and visually inviting.
     
  • Clear and reset tables in the bar area as needed.
     
  • Present drink menus, recommend selections, and answer questions about beverages.
     
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly bar environment, including counters, sinks, shelves, and storage areas.
     
  • Serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
     
  • Report equipment problems and maintenance needs to the Assistant F&B Manager.
     
  • Assist with restocking and inventory management.
     
  • Be ready to step in and support overall restaurant operations as needed.
     
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Must be 21 years of age.
     
  • T.I.P.S. certification required.
     
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests in the predominant language(s) spoken.
     
  • Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and standard drink recipes.
     
  • Basic math skills with the ability to manage money and operate a cash register.
     
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours per shift).
     
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
