Senior Product Designer – Visual Design

As a B2B company, we focus solely on helping our airline and travel partners build their brands, not our own.<br/>Role Purpose  This is a senior design role focused on visual design. You will work closely with the Product Design team contributing, maintaining and developing our design system. You will be responsible forcreating industry leading designs for our partners as well as helping to communicate the vision of our product design strategy internally.   Reporting to: Head of Product Design  <h3>Main accountabilities and key tasks:</h3> <ul> <li>Able to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail – You can create wireframes, user flows, style guides, design documentation (including specifications for engineering handover), mock-ups that effectively communicate your UI and UX concepts and prototypes that allow users to test your concepts for validation and feedback. </li><li>You think about designing for scale -Where and when appropriate, contribute to our design system embracing an atomic design methodology. </li><li>You’re a great communicator – You understand the how to sell an idea by telling a story and this is reflected in how you present your work </li></ul> <h3>Critical Interfaces:</h3> <ul> <li>Working with Senior design leaders to align on product design vision as well as supporting in commercial initiatives </li><li>Working closely with product managers and designers to better understand our user needs through prototype testing, moderated research, surveys and user interviews  </li><li>Working closely with stakeholders from across the business to understand and solve design problems</li></ul> <h3>Knowledge and Experience</h3> <ul> <li>You’re a visual story-teller that knows what good looks like </li><li>You understand how to design products for scale and are up-to-speed with the latest trends in the industry </li><li>Multiple years’ experience with design systems  </li><li>Minimum 5 years designing interfaces </li><li>Self-starter that can work at pace </li><li>Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage your time efficiently </li><li>Keen eye for detail, and you take pride in your craft </li><li>Deep knowledge of Figma, and advanced prototyping </li></ul>Environmental, Social, and Governance You will be an ambassador of our culture and social and environmental credentials.<br/><br/>CarTrawler is fully committed to ensuring equal opportunities supported by an environment based on mutual respect, inclusion, and dignity at work for all our people.  We welcome diversity, valuing the benefits it brings to the workplace.  We have a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination of any kind. <br/>The criteria with regards to decisions on positions and promotions is an individual’s ability, behaviors, and merit to perform in the role.
