HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
The Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver performs all job assignments with a positive attitude that supports San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance's mission and vision of saving species worldwide by uniting our expertise in wildlife care and conservation science with our dedication to inspiring passion for nature and leading the fight against extinction. The Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver under general supervision processes requisitions and orders. Participates in the movement and delivery of product. This position reports to Retail Management.

This position is located in one of the organization's warehouses. Primary duties involve loading vehicles, making deliveries, and perform a variety of general warehousing and facility functions including the operation of heavy/industrial equipment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Accurately and efficiently manages orders for Retail replenishment. Researches and reconciles discrepancies.
• Safely operates equipment and vehicles and completes daily inspections
• Organizes, loads, unloads items for delivery and pickup. Assists in setting-up and stocking Retail locations.
• Delivers product, supplies, and equipment to multiple on or off site properties and collects any outbound
• Sorts and stores stock in warehouse using warehouse equipment. Maintains safe and clean warehouse facilities and vehicles
• Receives product and supplies delivered to warehouse, checks and inspects items
• Under general direction, provides training, guidance, and constructive communication

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently, completing tasks accurately and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Must be at least 18 years of age. This position requires successful completion of a physical ability test. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

JOB EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Valid California Driver's License Upon Hire required
