This is a very fast paced high pressure position that requires a lot of intelligence, hustle, grit, and business acumen. This is a high pressure position but the upside potential is endless when it comes to promotions and compensation. If you can not handle pressure, this is not a position you want to hold. If you're not a top performer, this is not a position you want to hold. We don't have set work hours, but you are expected to work until the job is completed, whether that takes 20 hours or 60 hours, productivity is up to you.

What You’ll Do

Job Description:

As an assistant project manager at CourseCareers, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by contributing to various aspects of our educational programs. This position will be specifically focused on expanding our course offerings, with a specific focus on engineering and supply chain/logistics careers. This position requires an A-player who is exceptionally talented, hardworking, and possesses a high level of intelligence. We expect a high level of output and this will be a high-pressure position.

Responsibilities:

• Course Creation: Assist in expanding course offerings by conducting market research, interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), identifying potential instructors, and supporting them through the course creation process. Collaborate with instructors to enhance course content and contribute to marketing efforts.

• Course Optimization: Review and analyze current course offerings, assess content effectiveness through data and analytics, and work closely with instructors to improve course efficiency and student engagement.

• Whatever else we decide to throw at you, there will be A LOT!

What You'll Need

• No previous experience is required. We're looking for someone who's smart, motivated and learns quickly

• Experience in product/project management or data analytics is a plus

• Experience using online education, such as doing online courses or certifications, is a plus

• Strong English communication and teamwork skills are required to be successful

• Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

• Openness to constructive criticism and a drive to continuously improve

• Willingness to always be on call and work outside normal working hours

• Strong desire to act and be treated as an entrepreneur

• Degree not preferred

Requirements:

• Good analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and improve course offerings

• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with instructors students, and team members

• Strong work ethic and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Must be located in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in project management or program management preferred

• Previous online course experience and/or certifications

• Prior experience in a startup environment.

• Previous work or education with course creation/online education companies.

• An understanding of learning science and its application in education.

• Willingness to work on weekends when required.

• Demonstrated dedication to going above and beyond expectations.
