About the role
Supervisor of the Support Staff plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks within Customer Service by providing leadership, guidance, and coordination for call directors, expeditors and clerical employees. This position will work closely with other leadership teams to enhance productivity, improve internal processes to provide timely handling of inquiries.

What you’ll do
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for performance monitoring, policy enforcement, termination process, disciplinary action, hiring, compliance and team development. Maintaining accurate records of all hiring, firing and disciplinary actions.
- Supervise, guide, and support the daily activities of support employees by fostering a positive, collaborative work environment and encourage teamwork and development.
- Train new support employees and provide ongoing training for existing team members to ensure the highest level of quality and timeliness.
- Act as a mentor to employees, guiding them in complex situations, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support company-wide initiatives, improve service delivery and recommend solutions to management.
- Assist in budget formation, resource allocation, and support employee scheduling as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and recognize achievements.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
