About the role
The Corporate Markets business provides a broad array of products and solutions to institutional clients and high net worth individuals. Institutional clients include banks, corporations and institutional asset managers. This role will report to the Head of Operations. The successful candidate will manage a team of 2-4 full time employees.
We want to hear from you today if you can:
- Manage the daily activities of the operations team and performing approvals
- Assist the Head of Operations to review and evaluate the end-to-end operational workflows
- Develop and implement standardized, streamlined operational workflows where applicable
- Work closely with the support functions including IT, actuarial, legal/compliance, finance and accounting teams to bring about process improvements and strengthen and improve internal controls
- Interact with clients and address/resolve client inquiries
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in operations, finance or equivalent field
- Bachelor’s degree: business, finance, accounting, economics, or technical fields
- Excellent leadership, motivational and interpersonal skills are required
- Proven track record in design and deployment of operational and technology improvements
- Experience with operations in a multi geography environment
- Track record of collaboration with key stakeholders across a diverse organization
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change in dynamic environment
- Must be self-motivated and able to navigate large and complex organization
- The position entails some travel between Houston and NY/CT
