We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining, logistics, and renewable fuels.
- Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day
- Our logistics business currently owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.
- Our three renewables plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi combined can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Commercial Accounting is responsible for leading process and system improvements while overseeing key accounting functions related to inventory volume reconciliation and valuation. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in commercial accounting by collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging technology. The Manager ensures precise recording and reporting of inventory transactions and supports financial reporting efforts. This position requires a proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong understanding of inventory accounting in a commercial environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

CPA certification

5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Experience with process improvement initiatives and system implementations (preferred).

Experience in the energy, oil and gas, or manufacturing sectors (preferred).

Strong knowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, and cost accounting principles.

Proven ability to lead process and system improvement projects.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
