Your Role at Baxter

The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring efficient operations, and contributing to cost- effective inventory management strategies.

Your Team

Cleveland’s technology and automation is innovative. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, tubing extrusion, and device assembly.

What you'll be doing:

• Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to resolve inventory issues.
• Direct Inventory Handling: Manage the physical handling of inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Ensure that inventory is organized and accessible, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• ERP System Utilization: Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels, manage stock movements, and generate reports. Ensure that all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the system.
• Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining inventory records. Create and manage spreadsheets/use of the ERP system to track inventory metrics and performance. Use of outlook, Teams and other applications with the Microsoft environment.
• Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports to management on inventory performance metrics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with purchasing, logistics, facilities, maintenance teams to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment of stock. Communicate effectively to resolve any inventory-related issues.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for inventory control processes, including optimizing storage solutions and reducing excess inventory.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management. Promote a culture of safety and efficiency within the warehouse environment.
