About the Role
Essity North America - Consumer Goods is looking for an experienced Data Analytics Manager who is responsible for the strategy and the roadmap for how to create value of data. The scope of the responsibility includes to understand and interpret user needs and with this as a base, connect data analytic technology opportunities into a stronger value proposition and new business opportunities for Essity.
The ideal candidate should live in Philadelphia, PA.

What You Will Do
- Develop a Data Analytics Strategy utilizing 1P and 3P data sources to build an understanding of our business in the broader marketplace. Create tools and systems that are accessible, understandable and actionable that our team can use to make data-driven decisions.
- Be a thought leader in strategic discussions – lending data-driven insights to help understand business problems, and suggest creative solutions.
- Lead, manage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholders to secure that we maximize the value out of our data and that the development of the services/solutions, cross target audiences, channels etc. are coordinated from a data management perspective .
- Be a resource - sharing your knowledge and expertise in data analytics and business intelligence with the team. Ensuring we are always at the forefront of innovation in the field of data analytics (algorithms, machine learning, ai, etc.)
- Identify and develop partnerships with external solution/product providers to meet the commercial objectives in the business development roadmap and be a speaking partner related to data integrations and interoperability opportunities from a GBIS perspective.
- Be a people leader (this role has one direct report)
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics (preferably business intelligence).
- Experience with data visualization tools and an expert storyteller through data
- Familiarity with SQL & R
- Knowledge of building dashboards and connecting data through APIs
- Experience with MMM models, marketing automation tools, advertising platforms, and common data vendors (ie: Nielsen, Circana, etc.)
- Strategic Thinking – Fundamental as this role is to lead the development of digitally enabled products and solutions.

- Travel up to 10% of the time
