Job Description

The OR Biller reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for complete and accurate billing computation and data entry of Perioperative Services information system.
• Effectively interacts with other Perioperative Services health care team members and other hospital departments, e.g., Health Information Management Services, Fiscal Services, Patient Financial Services and other hospital departments.

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous healthcare office experience.
• Previous medical billing experience.
• High School Graduate.

Preferred:

• One year's experience in a health care office position.
