We are searching for a Staff Accountant based in Scottsdale, AZ to join our team. The ideal candidate should be organized, accurate, and results oriented, as well as provide a high level of service to business partners by responding timely to requests.
Essential Functions:
- Perform monthly clearings and reconciliations for cash accounts.
- Prepare monthly close journal entries and reconciliations for accrued expenses.
- Meet monthly with Licensing team to assist with royalty revenue journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries to allocate costs amongst multiple departments.
- Collaborate with global accounting teams to facilitate intercompany and consolidation journal entries.
- Prepare census reports by stated due date as they arise.
- Contribute to annual financial audit by providing support to external auditors.
- Participate in special projects, including automation and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years of general accounting experience or 2+ years of public accounting experience.
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills – ability to proficiently and expediently sort, navigate, and analyze data.
- Intermediate understanding of GAAP.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP is a plus.

If this is a remote position, the pay scale disclosed herein may be adjusted further based upon the applicable geographic differential associated with the location from which the successful candidate will work. Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role – especially as a new hire – and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $40,400.00-$70,700.00 per year.
