Senior Accountant

Intapp is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our expanding Finance team in a high growth environment. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, this role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of global accounting by providing leadership and accounting expertise while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams

What you will do:

• Perform worldwide monthly financial close related tasks such as validating accruals, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing analytics and management reporting.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis to ensure resulting financial statement results accurately reflect business activity and are in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures in relevant areas.
• Ensure and maintain related internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.  Actively engage in process improvements, including developing and maintaining Sarbanes Oxley controls.
• Research and provide any updates on new accounting standards and their application on the Company’s business.
• Partner with product, engineering, and other Finance teams to understand development activity and ensure accuracy of accounting under ASC 350-40
• Collaborate with the other finance departments and business partners to provide ad hoc research, reporting, and projects.
• Prepare and manage external auditor deliverables and closely with the external audit team regarding any quarterly review and annual audit requirements.
• Perform and deliver special, ad-hoc Accounting and reporting projects as required.

What you will need:

• 4+ years of progressive experience at a high-growth SaaS company and/or public accounting firm. Combination of Big 4 and industry experience preferred.
• Licensed CPA is preferred, but not required.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Internal Control requirements
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is preferred, or other enterprise level financial software systems required.
• Effective communication skills, both within and across the accounting and finance teams, but also with business partners (FP&A, HR, Marketing, IT, Legal, and other business leaders).
• Strong problem solving, analytical, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and self-motivated.
• Possess a team player and team focused attitude.
