Regional Sales Manager - Heartland

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prospect, attract, and bring new customers to McLeod Software by aligning our technical solutions for customer issues
- Collaborate with the Sales Services team, demonstrating McLeod’s products & solutions both virtually and at customer locations
- Consistently exceed revenue quota on a monthly, quarterly, & yearly basis
- Manage sales reporting as required by management (new lead statuses, commissions, pipeline updates, travel schedule, expense reports, etc.)
- Continually engage in prospecting via phone-calls and face-to-face interactions
- Attend and participate in State Trucking Associations and other national trucking conferences
- Engage, network, and assist customers at annual McLeod Software Users’ Conference
- Ability to travel to customer sites upwards of 50% based on departmental/business needs

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of outside business development experience, selling and presenting to C-Suite prospects/customers
- Experience working and following defined sales processes (technical or complex sales experience is preferred)
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret trade publications, technical documentation, reports, and other documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, peers, or members of the business community. Ability to write communications and documentations grammatically correct for routine business correspondence.
