The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

FT positions available, D/E/N, 8 and 12 hour shifts, holidays and weekends per unit policy.

New Graduates (Level 1) are eligible for the med/surg Residency Program.  The residency program is designed to assist the novice graduate nurse to successfully transition to a competent professional nurse. Nurse must have less than one year prior experience in acute care and plan for a two year commitment upon program completion. Opportunity to work as part of a team on a medical unit with nurses specializing in care of a diverse spectrum of acute and complex medical patients.
