A day in the life:
As a DevOps Engineer at our fun and innovative company, we're looking for individuals who bring a passion for cloud technologies and a commitment to excellence. Your ability to design scalable and secure cloud architectures and hands-on experience in implementation and deployment will be crucial. For this particular role, we're looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to assist with the maintenance of an existing legacy applications and support the transition to a new, modern system architecture.What you bring to the table:
All of our Dev)ps Engineers need the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
For this particular role, you will also need:
- Demonstrated 5+ yrs of DevOps experience
- Demonstrated 3+ years of Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) experience
- Demonstrated 3+ years of Kubernetes and Docker experience
- Demonstrated experience in supporting cloud agnostic environments
- Demonstrated experience in integrating automatic test tools into the CI/CD pipeline
- Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems
- Experience developing, implementing and maintaining complex functions and scripts in support of cloud services
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Proficient with Git
These are important skills to have, but not necessarily mandatory:
- Experience with building security hardened images
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools e.g.Terraform
