We have an opening to join a client team building a cloud-based securities finance trading and collateral management platform. The global business has 200+ clients, both sell side and buy side institutions including Banks, Agent Lenders, Broker/Dealers and Asset Managers. This is an international team, largely located in Europe. We are ideally looking for a full stack developer: Java + Angular, but can be open to strong Java developers without Angular knowledge. 

As a Senior Software Developer, you will strengthen the existing cross functional Scrum team, contributing towards the implementation of the future architectural and functional roadmap to meet the platform's strategic goals and market demand. You’ll help design the foundation for how the platform performs and scales. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software in an environment that supports vital business processes.

• Design and development of product enhancements making use of the best of enterprise
  technologies meeting the standards of the platform.
• Implementation of future architectural enhancements of the platform.
• Development of the platform to meet the standards of performance and scalability
  expectations.
• Collaborating with the Senior Architects on the platform to take ownership and drive some
  of the key initiatives.

Your expertise

• At least 5+ year’s hands-on professional experience in the Java enterprise environment.
• Experience building enterprise financial solutions.
• Experience with Agile and test-driven development.
• Experience in working in a distributed global environment.
• Very good expertise in Java SE/JEE, TypeScript.
• Very good expertise in software design patterns, integration patterns and enterprise
  architectural concepts.
  
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Middleware, JMS and JPA/Hibernate.
• Competence in the usage of REST-APIs.
• Experience integrating with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, with good
  understanding of concepts like OAuth, OpenID Connect and Single Sign-on.
• Adapting and integrating open-source frameworks and technologies.
• Good understanding of SQL (experience working with Oracle or SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• Experience working with Kubernetes/ OpenShift.
• Very strong communication skills and fluent in English. (Communicate with international clients and colleagues).
• Team player, willingness to take responsibility.
• Passionate about software development.

Considered an advantage

• Experience with Integration Frameworks/Patterns (Apache Camel).
• Experience with DevOps Concepts (Continuous Integration and Delivery).
• Strong preference for full-stack capability. Good understanding of web frontend technologies: Angular v2+, Observables, Redux.                        

Compensation

Gross 21 - 38  EUR/hour.
