JOB PURPOSE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team leading digital transformation across the Supply Chain Function at McCain Foods.

We are looking for a Supply Chain I.T. Business Partner who will work with the NA Supply Chain Function, build relationships, understand business processes, capabilities and technology products being used today, as well as building the Roadmaps which are aligned with the Business and Global IT Portfolio Teams for today and into the future.  This individual will be part of a dynamic Team, that is growing and working to drive inefficiencies out of their business, and improve operations, efficiencies, planning and accuracy, using data to make their decisions.  You will play a key role and be an advocate for the NA Business and visible IT Partner as you plan, strategize, guide, support and work with the Supply Chain Team.

 

You will be responsible for engaging with the North America business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements.  You will facilitate the technology processes to translate requirements into technical solution designs and estimates and manage the business stakeholders through the development process to ensure the delivered solution satisfies the business need.

 

You will be accountable for on-time, high-quality solutions and involved in all phases of solution delivery with higher focus on the requirements gathering, analysis, and deployment phases. Many times, you may need to work directly with our 3rd Party support teams and ensure the right sense of urgency, follow though and adherence to SLA’s are being managed to.

 

You will work as part of an agile delivery team closely partnering with our Global IT Supply Chain Product Owners, Technical Architects, Development and configuration specialists for successful project delivery.  For larger projects you will partner with a Project manager to support project administration activities.
 

To be successful in this role you must have CPG experience, proven track record in Supply Chain Systems, SAP OTC, Transportation Systems (TMS), Customer Service Systems and Data and Analytics along with, excellent engagement, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong ability to analyze business processes to translate these into elegant business solutions.  Your mission in this role is to maximize the adoption of our McCain Suite of Supply Chain technologies and features within the North America Business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Core

• Regular engagements with NA Supply Chain Leadership Team and business process leaders to identify opportunities or solve business problems.
• Develop Technology Roadmaps, which are aligned with our corporate technology footprint, yet supporting the demands and needs for the NA Supply Chain Business
• Bring forth ideas that can leverage our technology stack and bring value to the business with adoption, enhancements, or turning on capabilities to help the business be more efficient and competitive.
• Work with Global IT Teams (Product Owners, Technology Architects, Cyber Teams, Enterprise Architects, etc.) to ensure current technologies are optimized and efficient as well as plans for new capabilities are brought forth and evaluated appropriately.
• Create training plans and train others as needed to support Supply Chain systems.
• Support Supply Chain team members lead and track day-to-day resolution of systems issues partnering with MSP.
• Execute requirements discovery workshops.
• Analyze and value potential solutions with cost to deliver estimates to facilitate project prioritization and funding decisions.
• Develop high quality requirements documentation, actionable user stories and test scenario to guide the technical solution design.
• Leverage appropriate business processes mapping methodologies to map the current and future state of business processes. 
• Validate solutions meet the needs of the business and are appropriately tested by the business owners.
• Develop standards for requirement gathering appropriate for different sized changes and opportunities.
• Setting business priorities and ensure overall delivery of the solution.
• Signing off on user acceptance testing for projects managed
• Put in place the necessary tracking to ensure sustained adoption, correct usage and ROI of new solutions.
