GLOBAL CLIMATE, NATURE & DATA MANAGER
Location: Amsterdam
The Climate, Nature & Data Manager will be part of the Sustainability Office and play a crucial role in understanding Coty’s impact on nature and biodiversity, designing the nature strategy and set up the designated reporting processes in the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Climate, Nature & Data Manager, you are responsible for also improving climate and nature related data and reporting processes at Coty
Your main focus will be to:
- Overall support the Global Director of Climate & Environment
- Identify opportunities and drive the development of nature- and biodiversity-related targets and strategy
- Support the nature risk and opportunities assessment with external subject-matter experts
- Design the future reporting processes for nature KPIs
- Co-design the climate adaptation strategy and set up processes to track progress
- Support procurement team on their responsible sourcing strategy for deforestation and land related topics
- Responsible for climate & nature data management at Coty
- Lead Climate and nature reporting in CDP and support the sustainability office in the annual reporting cycle (annual report, ESG ratings)

The role reports to the Global Director of Climate & Environment.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like to get stuck in, proactively drive change & transformation and deliver tasks independently. As Global Climate, Nature & Data Manager, you thrive in an agile fast paced and international environment.
Other than that, you will have:
- Bachelor or master degree in an environmental sustainability-related discipline or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in a in complex, multinational company and preferably in Consumer goods, Beauty, Food or agriculture industries
- Good expertise related to nature and biodiversity, including knowledge of SBTn and TNFD frameworks
- Knowledge of carbon accounting and understanding of governing standards and regulations
- Good understanding of global trends and environmental regulations related to nature, deforestation and land management.
- Knowledge of and access to important biodiversity standards, networks, and platforms
- Capable of synthesizing complex data, simplifying it and translating it to internal senior leaders to drive business decisions
