Maintenance Technician

This position is at Pro Label LLC doing Business as Labelink USA.

Pay is determined by prior experience.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of building, machine and preventative maintenance tasks assigned by their direct report.  The Maintenance Technician must have a thorough understanding of machine components, functions, and an ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues that may arise throughout the course of their shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND DUTIES:

• Thorough understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical press components, how to troubleshoot, and repair electric powered printing presses.
• Strong understanding of the importance of following safe working practices, Lock Out Tag Out, Electrical Safety, ergonomics, etc. as outlined in the OSHA 1910 standard.
• Ability to perform consistently, as scheduled, preventative maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to learn various software programs such as MicroMain CMMS.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of all operations and procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in production/finishing environment.
• Able to read and follow directions.
• Able to work independently with little to no direction.
• Must be accurate and precise.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Promotes and models safety procedures.
• Must be prompt and reliable and able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to work with others in accomplishing tasks or goals in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
