The Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (BDAS) team is seeking a Senior Software Automation Tester L4 located in Englewood CO to help develop the next generation of an aviation data management system that manages data for airline and business customers around the world. The successful candidate will drive the daily execution of product development in a fast-paced agile environment. We seek candidates who have skills in agile methodologies, software development and test automation.
As a member of the BDAS team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from idea creation and development, to maintenance and support of the customer’s delivered system. The position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to make an impact on the results of our project.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks
- Develop and maintain testing pipelines
- Develop and execute automated tests
- Create and manage the test environment infrastructure
- Monitoring and documenting test results
- Report, debug and verify defects
- Agile development within a cross-discipline, global team:
- Participate in backlog grooming and requirements reviews
- Participate in team’s bi-weekly Agile ceremonies
- Use agile project management tools to track assignments and report progress
Help resolve technical and procedural impediments as needed
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Englewood CO location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of professional software automation testing experience
- 3+ years of experience with software development lifecycle
- Experience utilizing Agile development processes
- Experience with manual testing
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of professional software automation testing experience
- Experience with Cucumber & Karate
- Experience with PostMan
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with PostGres
- Experience with ETL/FME
- Experience with Linux
- Experience working with XML/JSON files
- Experience with C/C++
- Familiar with CI/CD concepts
- Experience with Relational Databases
- Experience with Azure or other Cloud environments
- Experience using a project management tool like JIRA or other
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.). preferred but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. (Hybrid position based out of Englewood, CO.)

Summary pay range: $118,150.00-$159,850.00.
