A Day in the Life

In this role as a Senior Business Process Improvement (BPI) Analyst, you will directly support the Operations Director at our North Haven location. The Sr. BPI Analyst will provide dedicated analytical and project management support required to effectively oversee the entire AIP. This includes data analysis, reporting, and logistical coordination. The analyst will be responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies and waste through systematic analysis and collaboration with various teams. They will support the strategic deployment of Medtronic Performance System (MPS) tools, ensuring that the right solutions are applied to the right problems to maximize impact and sustain process improvements.The role is instrumental in developing and updating the annual Deployment Plan and the Execution Plan. The analyst will provide the necessary data and insights to build a robust, data-driven strategy, and then will be directly involved in monitoring progress and adjusting the plan as needed.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
• Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
• Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
• Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
• Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
• Measures performance against process requirements.
• Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
• Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
• May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
• Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
• Communicates team progress.
• Performs cost and benefit analyses.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 
Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

• Manufacturing Operations
• Engineering
• Data Management
• High visibility roles
• Leading by influence

Excellent communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$86,400.00 - $129,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
