Firebird AST is accepting applications for an onsite TS/SCI cleared Airlift Validator to provide operational logistics and transportation planning expertise in support of joint deployment and distribution operations across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze validated airlift and surface movement requirements, transportation system capabilities, shortfalls, and potential enhancements to identify alternatives and recommend improvements to theater transportation effectiveness.

Develop solution-oriented options and provide actionable recommendations to address transportation challenges affecting intra- and inter-theater movements, ensuring alignment with combatant command priorities.

Support joint process improvement teams tasked with resolving both unique and systemic transportation issues, ensuring collaborative problem-solving across stakeholder organizations.

Develop standardized procedures and data collection methodologies to support the accurate presentation of statistical data related to theater movement control, including the forecasting of long-term transportation requirements.

Monitor and assess inter-theater TPFDD force flow requirements by identifying movement constraints, recommending adjustments, and coordinating resolution strategies across operational planning and execution teams.

Conduct in-depth transportation analysis and take the lead in developing, managing, and executing theater-level operational Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) to support distribution and deployment objectives.

Recommend multimodal transportation solutions that align with theater movement priorities, enabling timely and effective deployment while maximizing use of limited airlift and surface lift assets.

Identify and report conflicting theater transportation requirements that cannot be resolved through appropriate USCENTCOM movement control channels, ensuring fair and priority-based decision-making.

Forward unresolved transportation conflicts to the CDDOC and CCJ3 for final resolution in accordance with established procedures.

Provide continuous visibility of strategic force flow by leveraging JOPES (or the system of record) and other relevant feeder systems to track and report movement status.

Develop and deliver customized products and data tools to support theater operational requirements, including web-based reporting systems and ad hoc queries through platforms such as the CDDOC web portal.

Deconflicts flight schedules for cargo and passengers, enforce COCOM movement priorities, and coordinate load planning to ensure efficient use of available airlift.

Liaise with AFCENT AMD to address intra-theater movement requests, resolve execution issues in real-time, and ensure alignment with operational tempo and mission requirements.

Facilitates and processes Theater Clearance Request (TCRs) and commodity movement coordination for military official parties and equipment movement to the USCENTCOM AOR.

Responsible to track TCRs and travel coordination for military and civilian official travel into and out of the AOR.

Coordinates TCRs with subordinate commands and components in the AOR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Proficient in the use of the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES), including manipulation and interpretation of Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD), to support operational planning and execution functions.
- In the last five years, must have experience with the Intra-Theater Airlift Request System (ITARS); Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES) (or the program or record system); Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES); Single Mobility System (SMS); and Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System (CAMPS).
- IAT Level I Professional Certification
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools; brief materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Work independently with minimal oversight; provide thorough and completed products.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
CLEARANCE
· Active DoW TS/SCI.
