Job Title: Director, Enterprise Integration Services

Job Duties: Parexel International LLC seeks a Director, Enterprise Integration Services based in Newton, MA to manage department responsible for developing and documenting highly complex data designs and application code. Accountable for a portion of departmental operational expense budget. Lead developers on multiple complex projects, communicating with senior management in IT and business to keep projects on track, with accountability for delivery. Serve as consultant to business, identifying issues and proactively formulating solutions. Build trusted relationships with business partners to instigate consulting opportunities. Take global ownership for major data technology domain related to IT development activities and represents that domain within IT and to business partners. Stay abreast of industry advancements within domain, pushing for incorporation as appropriate. Mentor developers in coding, testing, and documenting according to systems development lifecycle. Manage production of unit test scripts and design documentation for all application code developed. Manage and participate in configuration and integration of commercial-off-the-shelf products. Manage multiple agile teams using iterative development methodologies, including scrum. Position may telecommute from anywhere in the US up to 5 days per week.

Minimum Requirements: Employer will accept a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus two years (or Bachelor's degree and five progressive years) of software engineering experience in:

working in a 21 CFR part 11 FDA regulated environment; designing multi-tiered and large-scale applications; JMS server-side Java technologies; Gradle and JDBC Java Frameworks and libraries; designing, building, and consuming REST APIs in a security-conscious environment; SVN tools; and Agile development methodologies including SCRUM.
