Attractions Attendant - Universal Epic Universe Commissioning (Part-Time)

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the safe operation of commissioning, ride testing, and ride cycling activities during the construction and pre-opening phases of new attraction development.

*** 3rd Shift hours Required***

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Actively monitor testing site access points/doors and ensure they remain locked/secured during the active testing process. Maintains active communication with the Team Leader and Testing Coordinator in the event there is a perimeter breach. React to potential safety concerns or perimeter breach, by engaging the appropriate system stop.
• Completes testing site access control activities, to include the badging process to ensure only designated personnel are present in the compound during ride testing. Controls ingress/egress points for authorized personnel.
• Follows the approved Testing Safety Plan to maintain a safe testing environment.
• Completes commissioning activities for other buildings/departments across property during the construction and pre-opening phase of development.
• Installs temporary warning signage, beacons, and barricades along the testing site perimeter.
  Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or GED is required

EXPERIENCE:

Theme park experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
