The Director for the Equity and Inclusion Division at the Oregon Health Authority will lead efforts to advance the agency's strategic goal of eliminating health inequities in Oregon by 2030. Leading the Division means developing and implementing goals, long-term objectives, policies, protocols, budgets and programs to eliminate health inequities in OHA’s priority populations and increasing access to culturally and linguistically responsive care in Oregon. The Director ensures that values around health equity, anti-racism, data equity and accessibility are embedded into statewide legislation, programs and services that eliminate health inequities in Oregon.

The Director must effectively leverage resources, initiatives, and ideas to maintain or expand existing programs and develop new strategies to effectively eliminate health inequities in Oregon. A key component of the work is to establish and maintain broad, collaborative working relationships with OHA divisions, federal and state agencies, the community, Oregon’s Nine Federally Recognized Tribes, policy makers, advocates, health care providers and leaders in the health delivery system.
