About the role
As a Technical Program Manager you will be working on the MarTech Infrastructure for Marketing at Meta on Marketing Analytics and Operations Team. You will play a crucial role in driving roadmap development support for MarTech, horizontal and vertical Data Science programs, and services. Your focus will be on providing strategic clarity and effective communication to marketing leadership, management, and Cross-Functional teams.
In this role, you will grow the group’s capabilities, coaching teams to work better in their own area while also synchronizing better across the group. You’ll serve as a hub for Project execution and delivery, including roadmap sharing, workstream updates, and risk mitigation. You will have technical program management background with demonstrated experience leading large projects across multiple technical disciplines, as well as building and supporting teams. You must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with ease. - Working closely with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful execution of projects from start to finish
- Developing and executing detailed project/release plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and strategies for large-scale, complex products and services
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project/release lifecycle
- Establishing and managing timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources for projects/releases while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged
- Identifying and mitigating risks, removing roadblocks, and escalating issues when necessary for successful project/release delivery
- Facilitating regular status meetings and providing updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners
- Continuously improving processes and best practices within the MAO organization, sharing knowledge and expertise across teams, and contributing to organizational learning and development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in project management, technical program management, or related fields
- Technical acumen and understanding of software development processes and best practices
- Experience understanding code and clarifying complex technical ideas
- Communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and experience influencing and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Adept problem-solving skills and thinking creatively to solve complex challenges
- Self-starter with a bias towards action and driving results
- Advanced experience with Python and Excel
