Responsible for the overall effective operation and implementation of strategic initiatives to enable the growth of the Business Banking Department. Provides oversight for coordinating sales, servicing, and implementation of department products within the bank, its branches and for customers. Trains and coach's department Officers and employees or others who would sell these products. Conducts relationships and activities consistent with established Bank policies, procedures and systems, the corporate code of conduct, Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations.

Plans, develops and monitors the department’s product lines on a regular basis.
Studies product enhancements, continuation or deletion options to enhance profitability for the bank.
Provides oversight and direction of the department’s product sales, delivery, setup, operations, compliance and goal achievement.
Manages department’s budget, personnel, sales, incentive compensation and customer service.
Advises and assists Senior Management, Sales Officers from Retail and Loans and support staff with difficult questions or issues with department products and services.
Responsible for ensuring proper management of the account analysis system and assists in proposals to for-profit, not-for-profit and governmental entities.
Maintains and follows through on customer contacts regarding sales, changes, additions and other problems with department products and services.
Assists Senior Management with strategic planning by developing departmental goals and budgets, and in writing short-and long-term department and product plans.
Assists in the growth and development of department products and services.
Supervises staff, recommends training, conducts evaluations and assists in overall staff growth and development.
Responsible for personnel administration, such as employment interviews, training and development, counseling, and performance reviews.
Responsible for recommendations and decisions on hiring, discipline, promotion, transfers and termination of staff.
Assists with clients to ensure financial needs are met and expectations exceeded, present alternative solutions for a variety of business situations.
Calls on potential and existing clients to create and increase the overall business relationship with clients.
Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism, sales performance, effectiveness, efficiency and customer service.
Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the services, operations, and organization of Central Bank of Branson; communicates this understanding to others when appropriate and refers inquiries and correspondence to the proper department or individual.
Actively participates in sales program, attends appropriate sales training, utilizes sales program initiatives, and works with senior management to set sales goals and work to achieve targeted goals.
Makes effective referrals to business units for traditional and non-traditional banking products and services.
Works closely with Retail and Lending on the Banks utilization of SalesForce.
Will be key component in Banks call program, including weekly internal meetings; this will include facilitating many initiatives in the overall sales culture of the Bank.
Actively work with the Marketing Department and Holding Company on marketing the Bank’s products along with utilizing various Social Media outlets.
Completes or attends all required training and outside social networking events.
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities.
May be assigned work or training at other assigned locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Cash Management experience preferred.
Background in bank policies, procedures, and banking regulations (state and federal).
Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Excellent verbal, listening and communication skills.
Strong customer relations skills and ability to work with employees and customers in a cooperative manner.
Ability and desire to work as part of a team, and with people of diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated skill in soliciting business for bank products and services.
Ability to identify client needs, present banking solutions and bank products.
Ability to recognize closing opportunities, close the sale, and retain and grow customer relationships.
