Summary:

Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Serves as a preceptor to new hires and/or students (2 students and/or new hires semi-annually).Performs post-processing (3D and MIPS).Maintains proficiency in basic and complex interventional procedures.Assists clinical educator with quality assurance programs and projects.Provides peer feedback for performance evaluations.Performs rectal contrast/virtual colonoscopy exams.Performs quality assurance testing on imaging and related equipment.

Required Work Experience: No previous CT experience required.One year of radiology technologist experience is preferred. Other Information: Registered as a Technologist (RT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as required by state law. Registered in computed tomography (CT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 1 year of hire date.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
