This person will own the operational management of the firm’s Funding Agreement and FABN programs end-to-end — from issuance through repayment. The role requires close coordination across many internal teams, leadership of the Quarterly FABN Program Update cycle, and serving as a day-to-day point of contact for the funding agreement business.  Periodic travel to the New York office will be expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the full lifecycle of Funding Agreement and FABN deals, including live deal execution, settlement coordination, interest payments, principal repayments, and maturity.
  • Manage all deal documentation workflows — distribution notes, ratings agency letters, regulatory filings, and signature packets.
  • Maintain deal tracking files, payment schedules, interest accruals, and expense documentation across all active issuances.
  • Maintain deal tracking files, payment schedules, interest accruals, and expense documentation across all active issuances.
  • Lead the Quarterly FABN Program Update end-to-end: due diligence, MD&A disclosure review, legal alignment, auditor coordination, exchange filings, and final signatures.
  • Coordinate across Legal, Statutory Reporting, external auditors, and outside counsel to keep quarterly deliverables on track.
  • Act as the primary operational coordinator across Treasury Operations, Investment Operations, Finance, and Legal on all FA/FABN workstreams.
  • Manage expense tracking and reinsurance cost coordination, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication downstream.
  • Represent the Treasury & Capital Markets function in the Boston office, serving as the local point of contact for the broader funding agreement business.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to automation and technology initiatives across the FA/FABN platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of professional experience with a track record of owning and improving operational processes
  • A fast starter who takes initiative, thrives on managing complex processes, and proactively finds ways to make them better
  • Exceptional attention to detail in high-volume, multi-workstream environments
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across multiple internal teams and external counterparties
  • Ability to lead multi-stakeholder processes independently and drive workstreams to completion on tight timelines
  • Foundational understanding of financial concepts; exposure to fixed income or capital markets is a plus but not required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter comfortable operating with a high degree of independence in a satellite office setting
