Global Web Delivery Lead, Consumer Web

The Global Web Delivery Lead, Consumer Web is responsible for overseeing implementation, execution, and quality control on three of Microsoft’s largest consumer marketing websites (Surface, Windows and Copilot); capacity planning delivery team scope and efficiency; driving project management workflow improvements; owning, managing and collaborating delivery team processes, partners, and vendors; partner across Microsoft teams and external vendors to get the work executed; managing and juggling large complex projects; ensuring security and compliance on all sites; leading localization workstreams; maintaining high bars of quality assurance and efficient quality control processes; and, enhancing overall user experiences.
Responsibilities
- User Experience: Focusing on creating a seamless and positive user experience, including site navigation and accessibility.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively across key groups within Microsoft including GTM, Web, Legal, Web Production, Strategy, Analytics, and Reporting teams to ensure successful content creation, review approval, launch, reporting, and insights.
- Content Management: Manage web content updates to existing experiences, including text, images, and multimedia elements to ensure fresh and relevant content.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of web content and functionality through rigorous testing and revision processes for all markets.
- Localization: Lead the localization approach for all web sites, including high-quality localization based on market variations, market review, localization quality testing, and loc process optimization.
- Project Management: Develop a robust workback schedule with input from all key partners and ensure all deadlines and budget considerations are met.
- Vendor Management: Lead and coordinate with external vendors across all consumer web experiences (Surface, Windows and Copilot) to ensure accurate, timely and confidential global web launches. Coordinating with external vendors for services such as hosting, security, and third-party integrations.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor web analytics to gauge site performance and make recommendations for improvements based on data insights.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring the website complies with legal requirements, such as GDPR, and maintaining high standards of cybersecurity.
- Innovation: Keep abreast of the latest web technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation in web delivery, including AI, Copilot, 3D rendering, and other applicable technology and technology providers.
- Forward Looking: Identify, mitigate and plan for future requirements and requirement gaps in our tools, platforms and resources.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 1+ year(s) integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in web operations, delivery, site management, analytics or equivalent experience.
