Summer Help - General Production

Student Helper must work closely with the machine operator, manufacturing supervisor, and Quality Assurance to assure that all production objectives are efficiency achieved.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Assist operator as needed to ensure that the rewind machinery is working properly and safely.
• Monitor the quality of the material being processed to ensure compliance to company and customer quality specifications. Seek assistance on any product quality issue during run.
• Responsible for wrapping/packaging of material from machine center.
• Perform variety of quality checks on product as outlined in job specifications.
• Prepare new pallets as needed for job run.
• Label all pallets/skids with correct labeling.
• Pack products neatly onto the pallets and according to customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience 

• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift an average of 50 lbs.
• Eager and can-do attitude!
