Work Environment This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Matawan, New Jersey. Our team operates in a vibrant and encouraging work environment where therapists can thrive. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring that every patient receives a comprehensive approach to their rehabilitation needs. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered physical therapy services that align with the organization's values and principles. Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ physical conditions and establish individualized treatment plans and goals. Implement treatment programs that incorporate therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at maximizing patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and adhere to ethical standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Document patient progress accurately and update treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and address any additional needs or resources for patients. Engage in regular communication with patients and their families to educate them on treatment processes and expected outcomes. Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices and industry advancements. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals. You will be responsible for treating various orthopedic conditions, post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Your unique skill set will be essential in tailoring rehabilitation strategies to meet the specific needs of each age group and condition, enhancing their recovery journey. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience providing physical therapy services in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and age-specific treatment strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. Preferred Experience Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation. Background in specialized treatment areas, such as sports rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, or geriatric care, is a plus. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
