Job description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to Assist in defining requirements, designing and building data center technology components and testing efforts.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will utilize industry and or domain knowledge and experience to perform technical analysis, develop working prototypes, and recommend best practice business changes for a DoD client and the CTO. The position requires self-motivation, strong communication and collaboration skills, creativity, a broad range of technical knowledge and skill, and the ability to perform research and develop practical, cost effective, secure, IT based solution recommendations to solve client business challenges. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer should be familiar with:

  • Enterprise IT architecture, IT management, on premises IT platforms, compute storage networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and the concepts of Agile project management and software defined approach to infrastructure and software deployment
  • Deep understanding of VMware ESXi infrastructure, Windows platforms and security services, and cloud technologies
  • Design, implementation and management of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting applications running on Windows server operating systems.

Here’s what you need:

  • Minimum eight (8) years' experience with installation and configuration of VMware ESXi virtual infrastructure
  • Minimum eight (8) years' experience with installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows Servers and domain services
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience with a combination of deployment and configuration of Windows management services, Update Management, SQL, and web services
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience with monitoring performance and throughput, setting baselines for acceptable performances standards for new solutions
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience with CI/CD orchestration tools e.g., Jenkins, Maven or similar CI/CD
  • Demonstrated experience with the design and operation of VMware NSX SDN
  • Experience identifying business requirements and mapping technical requirements

 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and C-Suite level client leadership
  • Security+ CE or equivalent security certification
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts
  • VMWARE certifications

Security Clearance: 

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required, likely to obtain CI poly  

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

California: $117,000 - $214,300 
Colorado: $117,00 - $185,200 
New York: $108,500 - $214,300 
Washington: $124,700 - $197,300
