Opportunity
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to get in on the ground level within a growing accounting team! Twin Health’s accounting team is at its infancy and this individual will help maintain and build processes to help make the company become more efficient as the business grows. This individual will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and work directly with our Senior Accountant on day to day operations of the team. A successful candidate for this role is someone that enjoys building from scratch and enjoys a startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (cash, prepaids, fixed assets, etc.), maintenance of working papers and roll forwards
- Manage Accounts Payable to ensure vendors are paid timely, respond to questions from vendors, ensure that payable policies are followed, and reconcile monthly to AP Aging schedule to Netsuite
- Performs the processing of benefits expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, as needed
- Assists in preparing inter-company entries, expense allocations, and eliminations as part of consolidationSupports preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Analyzes trends of expenses and inquires of department leaders to ensure expenses are properly recorded on a monthly basis.
- Complete other projects as necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting or related field
- 2-4+ years of GAAP accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting and US GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels both within and outside the company
- Ability to prioritize multiple duties and work independently
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Flexibility and comfort with continuous change, willingness to take on challenges, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong excel skills and passion for new technologies that promote efficiency
- Experience with NetSuite
- CPA or CMA, or interested in pursuing
- Public accounting audit experience is a plus
- Healthcare experience a plus

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 annually.
