What you'll do:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for Alto's San Francisco market, ensuring efficiency, quality, and exceptional service to deliver an elevated ride-hailing experience to our customers.
- Lead large and growing team of hourly / frontline driver employees (W-2)
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations, including fleet management, driver scheduling, and customer support.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, technology, and corporate operations support to drive market growth and meet revenue objectives.
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members - drivers and operational staff, including leads, trainers, and service agents - providing ongoing support, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure their success.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, including licensing, insurance, safety requirements, and California and San Francisco labor laws.
What you bring to the table:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management leading a team of hourly employees
- Proven track record of compliance with San Francisco and California labor regulations
- Analytical background: you can understand and leverage data to drive action and results
- Exceptional people skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- In-depth knowledge of San Francisco
- Bachelor’s Degree required
