This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites up to four days per week and work remotely the remaining day(s). A member of our Talent Acquisition team will provide more details.Job Summary: Support day-to-day operations in the Documentation group for OTC Derivatives (Foreign Exchange, Money Market and FX Options), ensuring all relevant processing and maintenance functions are completed accurately within prescribed timeframes and in accordance with established departmental procedures.
Responsibilities:
Draft and review confirmations for FX Options and Non-Deliverable Forward (paper-based trades).
Process confirmations for SWIFT, FXALL, Misys electronically confirmed trades.
Ensure all documentation complies with ISDA and market practice.
Ensure all documentation complies with Dodd Frank regulations.
Interact with Counterparty, Front Office and Legal as needed to resolve confirmation issue(s).
Ensure the tracking of outstanding confirmations is recorded and reported to management.
Raise and respond to internal and external inquiries timely and with professionalism.
Understand the roles and responsibilities of other units we deal with and effectively communicate with those units when required.
Work with the team and assist with ad-hoc requests and project related task(s).
Participate in user acceptance testing for systems upgrades, database conversions and introduction of new systems.
Provide training to other team members as needed.
Perform daily and monthly reconciliations.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail; must be able to effectively time manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities; strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and in written form); proficient at Microsoft Excel and Word; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to quickly adapt to change and work in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree required; 1-2 years of operations experience within a banking/investment banking environment desired.
Working knowledge of ISDA Definitions and/or EMTA standards desired.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $26 per hour - $31 per hour depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
