Associate Professor in computer Languages and Systems. Part Time (2025/2026))

<p></p><p><span>From the</span><b> Politecnic Sch</b><b>oo</b><span><b>l</b> we are looking for a part-time profile to teach in the </span><b>Information Technology Department </b><span>from the next academic year 2025/2026:</span></p><p></p><p><b><u>Subjects to be taught:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>Cyptography.</p></li><li><p>Cybersecurity and data protection.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b><span>Education and Training:</span></b></u></p><ul><li><p><span>A university degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science and Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical </span><span>Engineering or related degrees is required.</span></p></li><li><p>A doctor's degree would be a plus.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Languages:</u></b></p><ul><li><p>High level of English (C1) is required. The subjects will be taught in English and spanish.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b><span>Professional, teaching and research experience:</span></b></u></p><ul><li><p>Teaching, research or professional experience in the specific area related to the subject to be taught.</p></li><li><p>Teaching accreditations would be an asset.</p></li><li><p>Scientific publications in the area related to the subject to be taught, as well as participation in research groups, seminars and/or congresses will be valued.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Competences and skills:</b></u></p><ul><li><p>Communication skills, oral and written. </p></li><li><p>Ability to generate impact and motivate students.</p></li><li><p>Pedagogical skills (use of a wide range of didactic and digital media, application of different teaching methodologies).</p></li><li><p>High emotional intelligence: self-motivation, empathy and influence.</p></li><li><p>Involvement and commitment.</p></li></ul>
