This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites up to four days per week and work remotely the remaining day(s). A member of our Talent Acquisition team will provide more details.

Job Summary:

An Analyst is required to support all Early Career Programs for the Corporate and Investment bank as well as provide supplemental assistance to the HR Campus Recruitment team by working on both the recruitment and operations of campus recruitment program across multiple lines of business. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of activities from participating in the designing and executing of our Summer Analyst Program to partnering with the Campus Recruitment team on early careers recruitment initiatives. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, hiring managers and school team leaders within the Early Talent space to plan and manage the effective delivery of key milestones. Long term, this role will aim to take on additional ownership of program management, key clients, and campus processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the planning and execution of early careers development activities

  • Follow project plan pertaining to early careers, track activities, and closely monitor progress

  • Create materials for the Summer Analyst program

  • Partner with HR/ Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition of candidate from hiring to onboarding to the start of our Summer Analyst Program as well as seamless execution of the selection and assessment processes towards the end of the program

  • Work with respective teams such as IT, Corporate Real Estate and Security to ensure onboarding activities are progressing

  • Aid in planning and facilitation of all onsite and offsite events – securing venues, food and beverage, finalizing invitee lists and ensuring business leaders are well informed about events

  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement of the program

  • Help manage program budgets and billing processes

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal clients to educate them on the recruitment process, timeline, roles and responsibilities as well as promoting diversity among our rapidly growing workforce

  • Under the direction of the Campus Manager, execute on-campus recruitment through activities such as processing on-campus programs and events, drafting resume bundles and utilizing the Handshake platform

  • Process candidates through the applicant tracking software and other trackers 

  • In tandem with other coordinators, manage key administrative processes for Campus recruitment such as the Campus Recruitment interview scheduling process, maintaining the campus recruitment databases and pre-offer background checks

Requirements:

  • Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with high level of interest in Human Resources and program design and management

  • Has a passion for early careers and the development of junior talent

  • A good understanding of the early careers landscape

  • Strong stakeholder management. Capable of developing partnerships with colleagues at the bank, partners at the schools, and students that have high potential for succeeding at MUFG

  • Consultative in approach and is highly collaborative. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively engage a variety of different people

  • Results-oriented

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills – can maintain attention to detail in a very fast-paced environment across multiple tasks pertaining to applicant tracking, candidate workflow, and other strategic initiatives

  • Proven team player with excellent verbal, written communication/presentation, and interpersonal skills
