The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Staff Research Associate to join the Lord Laboratory, a leading research program focused on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental conditions across the lifespan.
You will play a key role in supporting research studies by working directly with participants and families, managing research data, and assisting with research administration and scholarly publications. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developmental disorders, clinical research, psychology, neuroscience, or related fields. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruit and screen potential research participants for study eligibility
- Conduct participant outreach and discuss study participation opportunities
- Obtain informed consent from research participants and families
- Conduct screening and structured diagnostic interviews
- Assist participants in completing study questionnaires and assessments
- Enter, manage, clean, and maintain research databases and study records
- Support data analysis and preparation of research findings
- Assist with institutional review board (IRB) submissions, regulatory documentation, and study compliance activities
- Contribute to manuscript preparation and facilitate online manuscript submissions
- Provide general lab and research support to help ensure successful study operations
Salary range: $30.12/hr - $35.92/hr
