Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a part time Express Technician to join our Express Clinic team. As a skilled Express Technician, you will be under the supervision of an RN or physician and will support the nursing and physician staff with triage, care, and treatment of patients of all ages with illnesses and injuries. You will serve as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach, anticipating the needs of the patient and/or team by performing and completing tasks within the scope of practice.

What you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED required
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required
• WA State Nursing Assistant Registered (NA-R), Nursing Assistant Certified (NA-C), Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C), Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) or EMT required
• Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy certification required; as a condition of employment, application for MA-Phlebotomist Certification must be submitted within 90 days of hire.
• ED or urgent care experience preferred
• Recent emergency department, urgent care, EMT, EMT-B, or related medical experience providing direct patient care preferred

Schedule: 0.6 FTE; 24 hours/week; Day Shift
