Role Overview:
As a Senior Associate II, Payroll, you have outstanding ethical leadership with the ability to handle highly sensitive data securely. You have a proven track record for strong organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize in a high volume, fast-paced environment. You administer all aspects of payroll leading to on-time and accurate processing. You are an integral part of a rapidly growing organization with an opportunity to make a hands-on impact.

What you do each day:
- Process biweekly and semimonthly payroll for a high volume of team members (1000+), in multiple subsidiaries
- Maintain database of personnel information and accurate payroll records
- Conducts regularly scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
- Complete new state registrations for withholding taxes and unemployment
- Complete ongoing filing requirements for individual states
- Import 401(k) deferral and loan changes and reconcile processed amounts with the administrator.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, including remittance of payroll taxes
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities
- Prepare payroll related journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related financial field
- Knowledge of payroll industry tools
- Familiarity with sales and commission based payroll
- Familiarity with national payroll in multiple states
- Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations

Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $70,000-$83,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
