The role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a secure correctional environment.</span></p> </div> <div> <span>Job Duties:</span> </div> <div> <p><span>- Manage daily operations of the Complex Warden’s Office, including correspondence, visitors, phone calls, and special projects<br/>- Maintain the Warden’s calendar and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conferences<br/>- Attend meetings, record, and transcribe minutes<br/>- Prepare reports, memos, and a wide variety of correspondence<br/>- Collect, research, and compile data for reports and special projects<br/>- Maintain confidential administrative, inmate, and staff records in accordance with retention schedules<br/>- Support administrative staff; serve as backup when needed<br/>- Retrieve and distribute mail and prepare records for archiving<br/>- Drive on State business as required<br/>- Perform other duties as assigned<br/></span></p> </div> <div> <span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities (KSAs):</span> </div> <div> <p><span>Knowledge of: <br/>- ADCRR policies and procedures and Arizona Department of Administration personnel rules<br/>- Administrative and office management practices<br/>- Business English, grammar, and professional correspondence<br/>- Records management and filing systems<br/>- General procurement procedures<br/>- Office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace<br/><br/>Skill in: <br/>- ADCRR policies and procedures and Arizona Department of Administration personnel rules<br/>- Administrative and office management practices<br/>- Business English, grammar, and professional correspondence<br/>- Records management and filing systems<br/>- General procurement procedures<br/>- Office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace<br/><br/>Ability to: <br/>- Maintain strict confidentiality<br/>- Work independently and meet deadlines<br/>- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment<br/>- Plan, organize, and coordinate administrative operations<br/>- Analyze information and resolve problems effectively<br/>- Work within a correctional setting <br/></span></p> </div> <div> <span>Selective Preference(s):</span> </div> <div> <p><span><span>- Two (2) years of professional administrative experience supporting a manager or administrator<br/>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications<br/></span></span></p> </div> <div> <span>Pre-Employment Requirements:</span> </div> <div> <p><span><span>Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and drug test.<br/><br/>In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.<br/><br/>If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply.
