About the role

Azimuth Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Analyst to join our Business Development and Capture team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving growth and building competitive advantage for the organization.

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and competitive intelligence. Stay informed on industry trends and potential clients.
  • Capture: Support capture strategies for targeted projects. Assist in shaping win themes and value propositions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate successful proposal development and execution.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making processes. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data necessary for crafting compelling proposals. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and client requirements. This will include identifying candidates for proposals and initial transition to execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of business development processes and best practices. Share insights and lessons learned from past proposals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree: Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the DoD acquisition process, market, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CRM, project management software, MS Office Suite).
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, proposal management, or related roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity with a commitment to excellence.

Physical Requirements / Travel

  • Must be able to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
  • May travel ~10% to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events. Most or all travel would be CONUS.
