Test Operations Supervisor

Cuberg, a cutting-edge battery technology company, is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. This role will work closely with the test engineers, R&D and the test team technicians to ensure that the operational functions of testing are executed safely, accurately, and on time. This individual would be responsible for overseeing the day to day functions of the Test Engineering Technicians, planning and driving efforts to meet the needs of current programs, and working cross functionally with production, manufacturing, and R&D operations to implement process improvements.

- 1+ years of supervisory or other management role experience
- Experience with supervising, training and mentoring technicians in critical aspects of test operation and processes
- Confident in owning and generating lists to facilitate cell movements with G-Suites’ Automation
- Experience with inventory management
- Effective communication skills
The San Fransisco / Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $26/hr - $55/ + equity + benefits.
- Base pay is determined by level + years' of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train and mentor test technicians in critical aspects of test operations
- Generate, update, and audit operational lists for daily test tasks
- Run and organize audits to drive maximum efficiency
- Create processes and procedures to improve hand off of DUTs to other operational teams
- Drive consistent audits of testing resources
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, systems and process improvements to optimize efficiency, productivity and safety
- Work cross functionally with EHS, R&D Operations and Production to improve safety, data quality and efficiency across all teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Google G-Suite such as Docs / Sheets
- Basic Knowledge of Python language
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working in a battery laboratory and/or production environment
