Job Description:

Responsible for leading product design across websites and apps that deliver on business strategies and delight 
customers. As the lead designer over a cross-functional product family this person leads the team in framing and 
solving hard problems. They will drive innovative design experiences that are easy to use, accessible and exhibit 
strong visual design. They will use qualitative and quantitative data to uncover new value with new kinds of 
experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develops design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX / UI design 
deliverables in Figma and other tools. 

Understands the target users’ needs, motivations, and behaviors as it relates to a specific project or area. Seeks to improve skills with a continuous learning and improvement mindset. 

Oversees user experience design projects to ensure cohesive user experiences 
throughout customers journeys. Partners with key stakeholders including business owners, product owners, technology, legal, and research to design best in class product design experiences across the Discover digital channels. 

Partners with Experience Design team to identify key deliverables and experiences and prioritizes with product teams. Utilizes user research and / or A/B testing to present and validate design solutions. 

Partners with frontend and backend engineers to translate design into code.

Qualifications:

Minimum-Bachelors in Graphic Design, Information Technology

8+ years of Experience with Product design, UX/UI across desktop and mobile web and native applications

Preferred-Masters in Graphic Design

In Lieu of Education:

10+ years of experience in Product design, UX/UI across desktop and mobile web and native applications

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
