Senior Apparel Product Developer, Team Sports

JOB MISSION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Apparel Developer to join our Team Sports division and help bring innovative, high-quality products to life. In this role, you will be responsible for your respective area of the business, operating with a high level of autonomy while benefiting from occasional guidance. You will fully coordinate tasks with cross-functional team members across a category or collection of products, demonstrating strong project management, costing, and development skills. Transparency and timely issue escalation will be key to maintaining organizational alignment and ensuring that each product meets or exceeds expectations for performance, cost, manufacturability, and quality.

You will lead the development of assigned styles to ensure they are 100% buy-ready for commercialization. This includes driving calendar management and achieving key performance indicators in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage & responsible to achieve all critical development dates. Accountable to report any delays to respective teams and manager while also working towards solutions.
•  Responsible for all costing specific to their product ownership as well as data quality, entry into NB PLM & all calendar deadlines are followed for key costing deliverables and reporting.
• Demonstrates a mastery of project management skills by coordinating tasks with the cross functional teams and other extended team members for a category of products keeping the entire team informed on key issues. Works collaboratively and cross functionally to successfully deliver product to the market on time, with the quality and competitive pricing required.
• Strong understanding of material tests, physical tests, fit and wear tests and how and when to apply them to ensure that the products they are responsible for satisfy the consumer with little or no guidance.

• 10+ years of experience with knowledge specific to Team and Sport product
