EMT/Security Officer (Overnight)

Position:  EMT/Security Officer

Schedule: 11pm - 7am (including every other weekend)

Pay:  $19 / hour

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Laurel Circle is recruiting for a hospitality focused EMT/Security Officer. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting community property.  Will be responsible for verifying the scheduled presence of all employees and third-party contractors on the grounds.

 

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Security Officer:

 

• Make scheduled rounds, both inside and outside of the buildings, to maintain a secure environment ofr residents and their property.
• Respond to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with residents, family members, visitors, and staff to assure that security procedures meet the needs of the facility.
• Prepare written reports of any community incidents.
• Maintain safe entrances to the facility.

 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Prior First Responder experience (EMT/EMR) required
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
